Lassie of Chester

00_awaitingAnother Crossfield of Conway 42ft Nobby. Launched in 1938 she is one of the last Nobbies built in the yard before the war broke out.  Commissioned by Alan Kitchen who fished the River Dee Esturay, she had an extra top plank fitted so she could fish the Liverpool Mersey Bar. She also fished out of Fleetwood until 1993 and had been under rebuild until the 1990's, moored in the Menia Straits by then owner / boat builder Scott Metcalfe.

Since 2007 she has been skippered by Adrain Farey along with co owners Denise Longley and Nick Perrin. She is now berthed at Porth Penrhyn dock, Bangor. During the Winter of 2008/2009 a low coach roof has been fitted and the interior re-fitted in traditional style.
