Nannette is 26ft LOD. Moored at Fleetwood, her her original owner W Palin reputedly sailed her to Norway with Arthur Ransome.
In the late 1930's she was sold to a dentist who lived in St Mawes and sailed her to his practice in Falmouth on a daily basis. Later she was sailed by a lady from the Midlands and kept at St Just in Roseland and she can be seen in postcards moored outside the famous church. She stayed in the Falmouth area until the 1990's when she was discovered by the original owner's grandson and returned to Fleetwood.
Since purchasing Nanette in 1999 the Stuart Turner engine has been replaced with a Lombardini 17 HP Diesel and she has a new set of sails by Steve Goacher and has cruised to the Isle of Man, North Wales and Liverpool and been successful in several nobby races.
