It was agreed that all paid-up members attending the Annual General Meeting will receive a token to obtain a free carvery after the AGM has concluded. Tokens will be handed out by your Secretary on the evening of the AGM and will also be provided to any guest of a member who will be expected to contribute £5.00 towards the cost of the carvery which is a substantially discounted cost, however, it is necessary to defray the total cost of the evening.
Your current Officers are Roger Bucknall (President), John Edwards (Treasurer) and Tom Middlebrook (Secretary). Both John Edwards and Tom Middlebrook have indicated they will continue in office subject to ratification by members at the AGM. Roger Bucknall will stand down and will be replaced. Any member wishing to nominate a replacement for any of your current Officers must do so in writing to your Secretary at least 5 days prior to the Meeting.
All Committee members present at this Meeting indicated their willingness to continue to serve. Your Secretary has received an indication from Doug Smith that he will retire from the Committee at this AGM. Any Committee member not in attendance at this Meeting and any member wishing to serve on the Committee should make themselves known at the AGM.
New Committee members will be most welcome and are needed to spread the workload.
