Jackie Swainbank has confirmed that all the arrangements have now been made for our social weekend in Skegness which will take place between Friday 26th November and Sunday 28th. On the Friday and Saturday night we will be staying in the County Hotel on North Parade Skegness. This is an interesting Hotel decorated in 1930’s style and is on a sea front location.
On Friday morning 26th November a coach will leave Liverpool Marina at 10.30 am. It is intended we will stop en route and arrive at the County Hotel in time for a leisurely evening meal. A trip to a place of interest will be organised for Saturday 27th and on Sunday we will stop for a few hours in historic Lincoln, which has some wonderful attractions and 2000 years of history. Regular attendees will know our social weekends are very popular. The cost this year will be kept at £95 per person and your booking will be confirmed following receipt of £30 which you should send to Jackie Swainbank. If you wish to receive further information then you are encouraged to contact Jackie. To facilitate those who may travel some distance to join us it is intended to get back to the Liverpool Marina at approximately 7.00pm on Sunday 28th November. A booking form is enclosed.
