Details
Your President who will also act as officer of the day will produce skippers’ notes, which will be sent to all Nobby owners who have indicated their intention to attend. Members should remember it is necessary to complete and return the Berthing Agreement prior to entering the Canning half tide Dock, any participant who has not already completed and returned a Berthing Agreement to your Secretary should do so promptly. Your Secretary will provide details of dates and times for locking into the Canning half tide Dock, no member should simply turn up without prior arrangement.
Our prize giving will take place at the Liverpool Marina after the Nobby Race at approximately 3.00 pm with food being served at approximately 4.30 pm. Once again there will be 4 free tickets for food for all participants in the race all other members and guests will be expected to pay £5 per person.
Your Secretary was mindful that the World Cup Final will also be held on the 11th July and members who are football fans will be comforted by the fact that the Liverpool Marina has large TV screens for anyone who wishes to stay behind and watch the World Cup Final.
Our next social event is attached to our Annual Nobby Race weekend and will take place on Saturday evening the 10th July at 7.30 pm. Food and a complementary glass of wine will be provided free of charge to all participants in the Annual Nobby Race including support boats. The maximum number of free tickets per boat is 4, all other members and friends are welcome at a cost of £5 per person which is to contribute towards rather than cover the cost of food made available. Scott Metcalfe has once again agreed to allow us to use Vilma for this event and your committee are most grateful to him for his kindness.
